UAS Operator & Instructor

About the Role

CopterPIX is a leading UAS company specializing in the development, manufacturing, and operation of advanced unmanned systems for defense, security, and operational applications.

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated UAS Operator & Instructor to join our team. This dynamic role combines pilot training and certification, flight testing, system integration, and operational support for activities in Israel and abroad.

📍 Ashkelon Area, Israel | On-Site | Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

Training & Certification

• Lead training courses and certification programs for internal and external UAS operators.
• Develop and deliver professional training materials, lesson plans, and curricula.
• Qualify and certify operators on CopterPIX UAS platforms.

Flight Testing & Operations

• Plan and execute flight tests and R&D validation activities.
• Conduct field flights and complex operational missions.
• Operate in diverse field environments and dynamic operational conditions.

System Integration & Technical Support

• Work closely with R&D, laboratory, and integration teams.
• Perform system integration activities and pre-deployment quality checks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues at the Operator-Level Maintenance level.

Field Operations & Logistics

• Independently manage field missions from planning through execution.
• Coordinate logistics, equipment readiness, and operational deployment.
• Work effectively under pressure and provide real-time problem-solving.

Customer Demonstrations & Support

• Conduct Proof of Concept (POC) demonstrations for customers and partners.
• Provide professional technical support during demonstrations, evaluations, and deployments.

Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications

• Valid Israeli Civil Aviation Authority (CAAI) UAS Pilot License for 25 kg MTOW or above.
• Proven professional and/or operational experience as a UAS Operator/Pilot.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience training and certifying UAS operators.
• Strong technical aptitude and understanding of system integration.

Advantages

• Ability to travel in Israel and internationally as required.
