Release Manager

Matrix is hiring an experienced Release Manager to join a leading financial organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the annual and quarterly release calendar.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee the complete release lifecycle across Development (DEV), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Performance Testing (PERF), and Production (PROD) environments.
• Manage the release process for Web, Backend, iOS, and Android platforms.
• Collaborate closely with Scrum Masters, Project Managers, Development, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure successful and timely releases.
• Lead release governance activities, including status meetings, cross-functional coordination, and release readiness reviews.
• Continuously improve release management methodologies, processes, and best practices.

Requirements

• At least 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Release Management within large-scale technology organizations.
• Experience in software development
• Proven experience managing mobile application releases for iOS and Android.
• Strong experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with release management and CI/CD tools, including Jira, Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and GitLab CI/CD.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP – a significant advantage.
