Business Analyst

OPC Energy is looking for an Analyst for the M&A Department

A challenging position within a professional and experienced team, which enables a deep understanding of the company’s strategic and decision-making processes.

The team is responsible for the valuation and Due Diligence processes with respect to Mergers and Acquisitions and tenders.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the evaluation of potential M&A opportunities and public tenders, including due diligence and market analysis.
• Supporting valuation assessments and deal structuring.
• Assisting in the preparation of presentation materials for senior management and external stakeholders.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business development, finance, legal, and operations, to facilitate the execution of M&A transactions.
• Monitoring competitors’ business activity and industry trends.
• Providing support in negotiating transaction terms and agreements with target companies and stakeholders.
• Assisting in the development of strategic plans and business cases to support M&A initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics / Accounting / Business administration – MUST
• 2+ years of experience as an analyst in a financial advisory firm - Project-finance department (or a similar experience in an energy or infrastructure firm / Investment Fund / Investment Bank) – MUST
• Proficiency with Excel and Power Point – MUST
• Relevant experience in the energy and infrastructure field – significant advantage!
• Analytical mind and good understanding of business
• Proactivity, striving to find solutions, professional curiosity and the ability to self-learn
• Attention to details, time management and flexibility to work in a dynamic environment under tight deadlines
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, both in English and in Hebrew
