Head of Subcontractors and Procurement | Aviation Division

We are looking for a Head of Subcontractors and Procurement to join Production Technologies Abroad Plant within IAI’s Aviation Division.

The position includes:

• Managing the Supplier Management department and overseeing suppliers providing parts and assemblies for Aviation Division programs in both military and commercial sectors

• Managing supply activities, purchase orders and deliveries to support ongoing production and program requirements

• Leading supplier risk mitigation activities and supporting development programs, including PMR, PRR and RRR reviews with suppliers

• Reporting supply forecasts, risks and mitigation plans to management and logistics stakeholders

• Leading the commercial aspects of supplier engagement, including procurement committees, negotiations and cost reduction initiatives

• Performing ongoing integration and coordination with multidisciplinary interfaces across the organization

• Overall responsibility for monitoring and achieving KPI targets throughout the supply chain

• Defining objectives and performance indicators for Supplier Managers

• Managing an annual business scope of approximately $100M

• Willingness to travel abroad frequently

Requirements:

• Israeli citizenship

• B.A./B.Sc. degree in Industrial Engineering & Management, Logistics or Economics

• At least 5 years of experience in subcontractor management and supply chain activities

• At least 3 years of direct managerial experience leading teams

• At least 3 years of experience negotiating with suppliers across various technologies, including machining, sheet metal, composite materials and tubing

• High level of English (reading, writing and speaking)

• Strong proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications
