Role Description The Team Leader – Community Manager role is a full-time hybrid position based in the Tel Aviv District, Israel, with flexibility for partial work from home. In this role, you will lead and mentor a small team of community managers, setting priorities, monitoring performance, and ensuring high-quality engagement across social media platforms. You will oversee the identification and nurturing of online communities, manage day-to-day interactions with audience segments, and guide the development of tailored outreach strategies for Italian or Indian-speaking communities. The position involves coordinating research and insights with internal analysts, preparing reports on community growth and sentiment, and collaborating closely with digital and engagement teams to align community activities with broader campaign goals. You will also be responsible for refining workflows, promoting best practices, and fostering a supportive, inclusive environment for your team.
Qualifications
- Ability to communicate fluently in Italian or Indian languages (such as Hindi or other widely spoken Indian languages), along with strong English communication skills.
- Experience in community management, social media moderation, or online engagement, including building and maintaining active digital communities.
- Demonstrated team leadership skills, including mentoring, performance oversight, and collaborative planning in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and research abilities, with experience interpreting audience data, monitoring trends, and translating insights into action.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for crafting clear, inclusive, and culturally sensitive messaging.
- Comfort with digital tools and social media platforms, and the ability to learn new technologies and workflows quickly.
- Organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Social Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory community practices and respectful online interaction.
