Configuration Management Student

This role will support the implementation and maintenance of Product Data Management (PDM) processes and product configurations throughout the product lifecycle. The position offers hands-on experience in configuration management, product lifecycle management (PLM), engineering change control, and product documentation within a regulated medical device environment.

Responsibilities:

• Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the company's PDM system and related engineering processes.
• Support migration of engineering data, drawings, and BOMs into the PDM system.
• Manage and maintain product configurations, Bills of Materials (BOMs), part structures, and engineering documentation.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and traceability across engineering systems.
• Support Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)
• Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and Supply Chain teams to maintain controlled product information.
• Assist in establishing and improving configuration management procedures and best practices.
  
  

• 4th year student in Mechanical Engineering,
• Availability for 3 workdays per week
• Proficiency in SolidWorks
• Understanding of engineering drawings, product structures, and BOM management.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical thinking.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• High proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing)
• Hands-on, self-motivated, and independent with strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• High self-learning capability
  
  

• Familiarity with PDM/PLM systems such as SolidWorks PDM
• Knowledge of Configuration Management principles.
