A leading defense industry company is looking for a Software Configuration Manager (SCM) to join a dynamic technological environment and play a key role in managing software configurations throughout the entire development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Manage software configuration across complex, multi-component projects

✔ Control source code versions and software change management processes

✔ Own release management activities, baselines, and recovery procedures

✔ Work with version control tools such as Azure DevOps, ClearCase, and SVN

✔ Develop and maintain automation scripts for Build & Release processes

✔ Manage configuration documentation and Bill of Materials (BOM)

✔ Ensure consistency across Development, Testing, and Production environments

✔ Collaborate closely with Development, QA, and System Engineering teams

✔ Drive continuous improvement of SCM processes and standards

Requirements:

▪ 1-2+ years of experience in Software Configuration Management (SCM)

▪ Experience with Azure DevOps, ClearCase, SVN, or similar version control tools

▪ Strong understanding of software development, testing, and release processes

▪ Scripting and automation experience – an advantage

▪ Experience working with complex, multi-version software systems

▪ Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently

▪ Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders
