UCT is looking for a talented Mechanical Designer to join us in Israel!

Job Summary

The Mechanical Designer will be responsible for designing and developing jigs, fixtures, and production support tools for industrial machining and manufacturing processes. The role involves close collaboration with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to ensure accurate, efficient, and reliable manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design mechanical jigs, manufacturing fixtures, and support tools for machining, assembly, and testing processes.
• Support the production process from the design phase through implementation on the production floor.
• Improve and optimize existing fixtures according to production and quality requirements.
• Prepare manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and full technical documentation.
• Work closely with Production, Quality, and external suppliers.
• Troubleshoot engineering issues and provide ongoing technical support to manufacturing processes.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering – required.
• At least 7 years of experience in mechanical design of jigs and manufacturing fixtures – required.
• Hands-on experience with machining and industrial manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in CAD software; SolidWorks is preferred.
• Strong ability to read and prepare engineering drawings and technical documentation.

• תכנון מכני של ג’יגים, מתקני ייצור וכלי עזר לתהליכי עיבוד, הרכבה ובדיקות.
• ליווי ייצור משלב התכנון ועד יישום בפועל ברצפת הייצור.
• שיפור וייעול מתקנים קיימים בהתאם לצרכי הייצור והאיכות.
• הכנת שרטוטי ייצור, הרכבה ותיעוד טכני מלא.
• עבודה מול גורמי ייצור, איכות, וספקים חיצוניים.
• פתרון תקלות הנדסיות ותמיכה שוטפת בתהליכי הייצור.
  
  

• תואר ראשון בהנדסת מכונות – חובה.
• ניסיון של לפחות 7 שנים בתכנון מכני של ג’יגים ומתקני ייצור – חובה.
• ניסיון מעשי בעבודה עם תהליכי עיבוד שבבי וייצור תעשייתיים.
• שליטה מלאה בתוכנות CAD עדיפות ל‑SolidWorks).)
• יכולת קריאה וכתיבה של שרטוטים ותיעוד הנדסי ברמה גבוהה.
