General Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Architect to lead the design and development of advanced embedded software systems across Linux (kernel and user space), DSP, and wireless communication technologies (Wi-Fi, 5G/6G).

The ideal candidate combines deep low-level expertise with system-level thinking and has hands-on experience in AI algorithms (training and inference) and high-performance networking.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and design end-to-end embedded software solutions for complex systems.
• Lead development across Linux kernel and user space, including driver development and system optimization.
• Define and implement real-time and high-performance DSP algorithms.
• Design and optimize wireless communication stacks, including Wi-Fi and 5G/6G technologies.
• Drive architecture for networking protocols and performance optimization.
• Integrate and optimize AI/ML algorithms for training and inference in resource-constrained embedded environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, RF, system, and product teams).
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and code reviews.
• Ensure software scalability, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and drive innovation into the product roadmap.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in embedded software development or architecture.
• Strong experience in Linux systems:
• Kernel development (drivers, scheduling, memory management)
• User-space applications
  
• Solid background in DSP (Digital Signal Processing).
• Hands-on experience in wireless communications, including:
• Wi-Fi (802.11 standards)
• 5G/6G or cellular communication systems
  
• Experience with AI/ML algorithms:
• Model training and/or inference
• Deployment on embedded platforms (edge AI)
  
• Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, routing, etc.).
• Proficiency in programming languages:
• C, C++ (mandatory)
• Assembly (for low-level optimization)
• Python (for scripting, automation, AI workflows)
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) or low-latency Linux tuning.
• Familiarity with hardware acceleration (GPU, FPGA, ASIC).
• Experience in modem, PHY/MAC layer development.
• Knowledge of containerization or virtualization in embedded environments.
• Background in performance analysis, profiling, and optimization tools.
• Experience working in large-scale or distributed systems.

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
  
  

OR

Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.

OR

PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
