Finance Director (Public Company) - JB-3446

A leading public company is seeking an experienced Finance Director to join its finance leadership team and play a key role in driving the company's financial strategy and reporting activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the controllership and finance team, overseeing all financial reporting activities, including consolidation of management reports in a multi-currency, international public company environment.
• Take full responsibility for quarterly and annual financial statements and reporting processes.
• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, including ongoing budget vs. actual analysis and financial performance monitoring.
• Manage SEC reporting requirements, including Form 20-F, as well as other regulatory reporting obligations.
• Serve as a key business partner to the CFO and senior management, providing financial analysis and strategic insights.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, advisors, and SOX compliance teams.
• Oversee cash flow management, treasury activities, and banking relationships.
• Drive financial controls, compliance, and continuous process improvements across the finance organization.

Requirements

• Significant experience in a senior finance leadership role (Finance Director / Corporate Controller) within a public company – mandatory.
• Proven experience in financial statement consolidation – mandatory.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – mandatory.
• Experience in multinational and multi-currency environments.
• Experience with NetSuite – a significant advantage.
• Background from one of the Big Four accounting firms – a significant advantage.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and professionalism.
