Production Planning & Control Manager (Defense) - JB-3420

For a leading company in the development and manufacturing of systems for the defense industry, we are seeking a Material Planning & Control Manager to take on a key and impactful role at the heart of the operational activity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor material availability and shortage reports within the ERP system
• Run MRP processes and plan material requirements
• Open and manage work orders and production line scheduling
• Manage inventory levels, perform material simulations, and support operational decision-making
• Expedite, postpone, or cancel purchase orders according to changing business needs
• Handle ongoing material-related issues with suppliers and subcontractors
• Work closely with internal interfaces including Production, Procurement, Engineering, and Logistics

Requirements:

• Relevant academic degree – mandatory
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment – mandatory
• Managerial experience leading a team – significant advantage
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably Priority ERP – mandatory
• Experience running MRP processes and managing materials – mandatory
• Familiarity with warehouse operations, procurement, and subcontractor management – mandatory
• Understanding of engineering processes and configuration control – mandatory
• Experience with work orders and production scheduling – mandatory
• Familiarity with Agile system – advantage
• High level of English – mandatory
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic, multi-interface environment
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• High level of organization, accuracy, and attention to detail
• Excellent service orientation and interpersonal communication skills
