Economist

Responsibilities

• Building budgets and forecasts (annual, multi-year) in collaboration with relevant managers, performing monthly budget control for units under the economist's responsibility, and supporting month-end closing processes.
• Performing economic feasibility analyses, costing, profitability analyses and analytical analyses as a routine or upon request to support decision-making by managers in units under the economist's responsibility.

Qualifications

• Relevant bachelor's degree (economics/accounting)
• At least 3 years of experience as an economist
• Experience from a company in the retail/consumer products sector - an advantage

• Understanding business processes in the organization, a broad systemic view alongside the ability to get down to details.
• Curiosity, methodological thinking, thoroughness, order in performing tasks.
• High work ethic, commitment, responsibility and a "big head".
• Ability to work under varying pressure conditions, excellent ability to conduct oneself in a multi-tasking environment, High discipline and self-motivation.
• Practical experience working with organizational information systems, an advantage for Priority
• Practical experience with data mining tools, BI systems
• Proven proficiency and practical work on EXCEL at very advanced levels, proficiency in preparing PPT presentations.
