Deployment Strategist

We're looking for a highly driven Deployment Strategist to lead the customer journey from late-stage sales through complex implementations and full adoption. You will serve as the critical connective tissue between our clients' business realities and our internal execution, ensuring deployments lead to measurable customer outcomes and long-term operational success.

As part of this role, you will gain deep hands-on exposure to core business processes, the mechanics of building advanced AI tools, and complex data architecture, while building and leading a world-class onboarding motion.

Lead end-to-end customer onboarding and implementation projects, from deal close and requirements gathering to go-live readiness. Proactively manage risks, escalation paths, and scope control, identifying technical gaps and blockers early and driving resolution before they become delivery failures. Ensure that deployment decisions account for both short-term success and long-term scalability aligned with our product architecture.

Serve as a domain expert in customers' financial and operational processes, providing technical guidance, data mapping, and process design. Work with multiple data sources and structures, analyzing complex operational and financial data to uncover optimization opportunities. Provide hands-on technical support around data, reporting, and system configuration. Identify manual processes and translate them into Automatiq.ai automation opportunities.

Coordinate and align internal teams (Engineering, Product, Solutions, BI, Support, and Commercial stakeholders) ensuring clean handoffs and strong ownership. Partner with Sales on late-stage deals, including technical scoping and customer calls. Collaborate with Product and R&D to communicate customer needs, ensuring delivery learnings inform the product roadmap. Pilot and deploy new features before general release.

Help customers interpret platform outputs and turn them into actionable business decisions. Monitor usage and adoption to ensure customers receive maximum value. Hire, manage, and mentor the onboarding team: setting standards, distributing work, and ensuring consistent delivery quality. Design and build onboarding processes, playbooks, success metrics, and tooling to create a repeatable and continuously improving implementation motion.

• Proven experience in Deployment Strategy, Technical Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Technical Account Management, or a similar role in complex B2B/SaaS environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics, Data Analysis, Information Systems or similar.
• Strong ability to work with data structures, system integrations, and map complex business/financial workflows into software solutions.
• Deep understanding of complex implementations with a proactive approach to managing risks, ambiguities, and project scope.
• Proven ability to act as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders with impressive, confident presentation and expectation-management skills.

• Experience hiring, managing, or mentoring a customer-facing or implementation team.
