CPA

We are looking for an experienced CPA to take full ownership of the company’s financial operations in Israel. This is a key role in a lean organization, combining end-to-end responsibility for accounting, payroll, and financial reporting, with ongoing interaction with a European parent company.

Responsibilities:

• Full ownership of all financial and accounting activities in a small, hands-on environment
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable reporting standards and group requirements
• Report to and work closely with the European parent company, including consolidation and intercompany reconciliations
• Manage end-to-end accounting operations, including general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing
• Handle all payroll processes, including preparation, controls, and coordination with external providers if relevant
• Prepare and submit statutory reports, including VAT filings and other regulatory requirements
• Manage relationships with banks, including cash flow monitoring and bank reconciliations
• Oversee invoicing, accounts receivable and payable, and tracking of invoice flows
• Maintain accurate books and records, including ongoing reconciliations and controls
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and public company regulations
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as needed

Requirements:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – mandatory
• At least 4 years of experience in similar role
• Proven experience working in a small or mid-sized organization in a hands-on capacity
• Strong experience in full-cycle accounting (end-to-end)
• Practical experience with payroll processing and statutory reporting (e.g., VAT)
• Experience working with banks, cash management, and reconciliations
• Fluent English (written and spoken) – mandatory
