Your Role And Responsibilities
As a Brand Sales Specialist for IBM's Automation Platform, you will create demand and progress opportunities to close for DevOps solutions. This role involves driving sales efforts for a wide range of products.
Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include
- Develop Demand Opportunities: Create and identify new sales opportunities for DevOps solutions, working closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Progress Opportunities to Close: Build relationships with clients and drive sales efforts to progress opportunities through the sales cycle, ensuring timely closure of deals.
- Solution Delivery: Collaborate with internal teams to deliver Devops Platform solutions that meet client needs, leveraging your knowledge of products such as Cloud Pak for Integration and DataPower.
- Client-Facing Activities: Engage in client-facing activities, including sales calls, meetings, and presentations, to promote DevOps Platform solutions and build strong relationships with clients.
- Sales Strategy Execution: Execute sales strategies and plans to achieve sales targets, staying up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge.
Bachelor's Degree
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- DevOps Solutions Knowledge: Experience with a range of Devops Platform solutions with the ability to identify and create new sales opportunities.
- Technical Product Knowledge: Exposure to products such as Terraform, Apptio, Instana, Concert and AIOPS, with an understanding of how they can be leveraged to meet client needs.
- Sales Cycle Management: Experience with progressing opportunities through the sales cycle, building relationships with clients, and driving sales efforts to ensure timely closure of deals.
- Industry Trend Awareness: Familiarity with industry trends and competitor activity, with the ability to stay up-to-date and maintain a competitive edge in the market.
- Solution Delivery Collaboration: Experience working with internal teams to deliver DevOps Platform solutions that meet client needs, with an understanding of how to leverage knowledge of products to drive solution delivery.
- Additional DevOps Solutions Knowledge: Exposure to other Automation Platform solutions such as Cloud, Kubernetes, CI/CD with an understanding of how they can be leveraged to meet client needs.
- Industry-Specific Knowledge: Experience working with clients in specific industries, such as finance, Hi-Tech, Government or healthcare, with an understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in these sectors.
