Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Engineer role based in Israel. The Mechanical Engineer will design, develop, and optimize mechanical components and systems for commercial printing. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and reviewing 3D models and engineering drawings, performing calculations, selecting materials, and ensuring designs meet performance, safety, and reliability requirements. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams in R&D, manufacturing, quality, and operations to support prototypes, testing, and design iterations. The Mechanical Engineer will troubleshoot issues on production equipment, document engineering changes, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in both product and process design.

Expected Contributions:

• Take part in new features development and design improvements to reach performance, reliability, and cost

Targets.

• Take part in designing the architecture of mechanical systems. From concepts to detailed design.
• Bring new Ideas, innovate, and present the latest solutions to drive project needs
• Technical Support of manufacturing, assembly, and product support groups.
• Technical support of functional and reliability testing.
• Be part of the mechanical design team and provide guidance to team members

Experience Required:

• At least 6 years of proven experience in Mechanical Engineering, with the ability to apply engineering principles to complex systems and manufacturing environments.
• Hands-on experience in Machine Design and mechanical system integration, including component selection, tolerance analysis, and reliability considerations.
• Proficiency with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 3D modeling and 2D drawings.
• Experience in Research and Development (R&D), including prototyping, testing, data analysis, and translating experimental results into documents
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering.
• Ability to work on-site in Israel, collaborate in multidisciplinary teams, and communicate clearly in spoken and written English.
• Experience with manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, injection molding, sheet metal) and design for manufacturability and assembly is an advantage.
• Familiarity with reliability engineering, finite element analysis (FEA), or thermal/fluid analysis is beneficial.

Education Required:

• BSc. in Mechanical Engineering
• MSc - an advantage
