A leading technology organization in Central Israel is looking for an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Team Lead to lead and manage its cloud and infrastructure operations.

This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on technical expertise and is ideal for candidates with a strong background in cloud infrastructure, systems administration, and team leadership. The position focuses on managing hybrid environments, overseeing cloud operations, driving infrastructure projects, and ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of critical systems.

The environment is primarily based on AWS (80%) with additional exposure to GCP (20%).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of System and Infrastructure Engineers.

• Oversee the design, operation, maintenance, and optimization of public cloud environments.

• Manage hybrid infrastructure environments, including both Cloud and On-Premise platforms.

• Lead infrastructure, cloud migration, modernization, and system transformation projects.

• Manage servers, storage systems, virtualization environments, and enterprise networks.

• Monitor infrastructure performance, reliability, and security.

• Develop and implement infrastructure roadmaps, standards, and best practices.

• Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.

• Collaborate with engineering, security, networking, and business teams.

• Plan capacity, availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.

• Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex infrastructure issues.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across cloud and infrastructure operations.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience managing enterprise infrastructure environments – required.

• Recent experience as a Senior System Administrator or System Team Lead – required.

• Proven experience managing public cloud infrastructure environments – required.

• Hands-on experience with AWS and GCP – required.

• Experience managing hybrid environments (On-Premise and Cloud) – required.

• Experience managing servers, storage, networking, and virtualization environments – required.

• Experience leading System Administration and Technical Support teams – required.

• Experience managing infrastructure, cloud, or system-related projects – required.

• Experience working with external vendors and cloud service providers – required.

• Strong leadership, planning, and stakeholder management skills.
