Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure | Kubernetes | Python | React)

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team and help us build, scale, and maintain a modern cloud-native platform running on Microsoft Azure.

You will work closely with our Python and React development teams to improve deployment processes, automate infrastructure, strengthen security, and ensure the reliability and scalability of our applications.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges, automating everything possible, and enabling developers to move fast while maintaining high operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for Python and React applications.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or similar).
• Manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor application performance, system health, and cloud resources.
• Implement logging, observability, and alerting solutions.
• Improve deployment reliability, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate closely with software engineers to optimize development workflows.
• Support production environments and participate in incident response when required.
• Drive DevOps best practices across engineering teams.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience managing Kubernetes environments (AKS preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Docker and containerization technologies.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates).
• Strong Linux administration skills.
• Experience supporting Python-based applications in production environments.
• Familiarity with modern frontend deployment workflows for React applications.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Azure Monitor, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Datadog, or similar.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
