Senior Information Systems Engineer

Role Overview

Lead and manage the organization’s Information Systems operations, combining hands-on technical expertise with strategic planning, process optimization, regulatory compliance, and team leadership. Responsible for maintaining high system availability, driving digital transformation initiatives, supporting business operations, and managing IT infrastructure, vendors, and enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Information Systems department, ensuring high service levels and system availability
• Define and implement IT policies, procedures, and governance processes
• Analyze business needs and design solutions for new systems and enhancements to existing systems
• Lead implementation of internal systems and external technology solutions
• Manage system lifecycle activities including testing, deployment, onboarding, training, and ongoing support
• Ensure compliance with international regulatory and validation standards (CFR Part 11, Annex 11, ISO)
• Maintain business-critical applications and ensure high uptime and operational continuity
• Develop and oversee Disaster Recovery (DR) plans and backup strategies
• Manage user permissions, security controls, and business process authorizations
• Lead vendor selection, negotiations, SLA management, and subcontractor oversight
• Build and manage annual IT work plans, budgets, and development roadmaps
• Provide strategic IT guidance and decision-support solutions to company management
• Troubleshoot technical and operational issues across systems and infrastructure
• Maintain databases, application servers, integrations, backups, and recovery processes
• Develop and maintain SQL-based reports, BI environments, ETL processes, and dashboards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver business solutions
• Lead user training programs and provide professional guidance to IT staff and end users
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and organizational digital transformation efforts

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial Engineering & Management (Information Systems specialization), Information Systems Engineering, or Software Engineering
• MBA / M.Sc. — advantage
• At least 2-5 years of experience managing Information Systems in both technical and operational/managerial aspects
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL, BI, Excel, Excel VBA, and SAP Business One
• Experience with systems implementation, integrations, and business process analysis
• Strong analytical and cross-functional thinking skills
• Proven ability to lead projects, processes, and organizational change
• Experience managing vendors, budgets, and service providers
• High level of discretion, reliability, and professionalism
• Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels
