The platform helps investment firms and asset managers manage complex financial workflows across the full investment lifecycle, including deal structuring, investor onboarding, capital calls, distributions, and investor communication.

Role Description

Covercy is looking to hire a Principal Engineer for a senior, high-impact engineering role.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced engineer with strong hands on coding abilities, architectural thinking, product understanding, and the ability to drive complex technical decisions across the platform.

Responsibilities

• Develop end to end product features as part of a cross functional team

• Work closely with Product Managers and business stakeholders

• Participate in architecture and system design discussions

• Build scalable features supporting complex financial workflows

• Drive engineering best practices, code quality, testing, and maintainability

• Influence key technical and architectural decisions across the platform

• Own complex technical challenges in a fast moving product environment

Requirements

• 6+ years of software development experience

• 3+ years of hands on TypeScript experience

• 2+ years of hands on Next.js experience, or significant ownership of a large scale production Next.js project

• Strong full stack web development experience

• Strong front end development experience with React.js

• Backend development experience with Node.js

• Architecture and system design experience

• Experience working closely with product teams

• Ability to turn partially defined requirements into scalable technical solutions

• Experience working with AI assisted development tools

• Startup experience
