Automation Team Lead

Located in a central tech district and operating on a hybrid model requiring two days of on-site work per week.

Position Overview-

• Automation Team Lead managing a cross-border engineering squad of 4 QA Automation Engineers, operating in a balanced 50% Hands-On / 50% Management capacity, and reporting to the R&D Group Manager in Israel.
• Heading the technical upgrade, optimization, and scale of a comprehensive automation framework built in Java for highly complex, On-Premise Network Security systems.
• Driving robust CI/CD execution and infrastructure maintenance while maintaining a high bar for product quality, incorporating light manual testing validation when necessary.

Requirements-

• Academic Background: B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a highly related technical discipline - Strictly Mandatory
• 2+ years of proven leadership experience managing QA Automation teams or driving technical ownership as a lead engineer - Mandatory
• 5+ years of hands-on professional experience building and scaling end-to-end automation infrastructures - Mandatory
• Strong programming proficiency in Java (experience with other object-oriented languages is acceptable, but Java is highly preferred) alongside Selenium - Mandatory
• Technical comfort operating within Linux environments and working with modern CI/CD pipelines - Mandatory
• Prior experience managing global or distributed engineering teams - Advantage
• Strong domain background in Networking, Network Topologies, or Cyber/Data Security systems - Significant Advantage
