Business plan consultant

Synergy Capital is looking to hire a part-time consultant for an immediate short-term project, expected to run for approximately 2 months, with an immidiate start.

Synergy Capital is a boutique investment banking and strategic advisory firm focused on technology-driven sectors, with particular experience in tech, space, defense, and dual-use markets. We work with companies, investors, and strategic buyers on M&A, capital raising, market analysis, and strategic transactions.

The role will support a strategic research and presentation project in the space / defense / advanced technology sector. The environment is analytical, client-focused, and well suited for professionals who enjoy strategic problem-solving and financial modeling.

Role Description

This is a part-time, remote role for a Business Plan Consultant. Day-to-day tasks include conducting market and competitor research, and structuring comprehensive business plans and presentations, including strategy, competition, TAM/SAM and go-to-market approaches. The role involves preparing presentation materials such as pitch decks and executive summaries, providing feedback on clients’ assumptions, and recommending strategic options. The consultant will collaborate with Synergy Capital’s team via f2f and virtual meetings, managing multiple projects, timelines, and deliverables with a high degree of independence and accountability. Need to be available also during US East Coast hours.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in research and analysis, including market sizing, competitive benchmarking, TAM/SAM and industry trend assessment.
• Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to create clear, concise, and persuasive business plans, pitch decks, and investor materials. Ability to turn complex information into clear, well-structured slides.
• Proficiency in research and analysis, including market sizing, competitive benchmarking, and industry trend assessment.
• High level of comfort working remotely, interfacing with international customers in USA, managing time, handling multiple client engagements, and meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline; an advanced degree (MBA or similar) is an advantage.
• Excellent English writing and communication skills required
