About the Role

Telefire is looking for a talented HW Engineer to join our HW and Embedded team. In this role, you will design and develop a wide range of Telefire’s HW products for life-safety, embedded control, and communication systems.

This role is ideal for an independent and hands-on engineer who is comfortable taking on end-to-end responsibility as a key contributor in a small, collaborative R&D team.

What you will be doing

• Own end-to-end hardware design of embedded system boards
• Design analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits in industrial control systems
• Perform board bring-up, validation, and debugging of complex issues
• Design with focus on robustness, manufacturability, and long lifecycle
• Support production, testing, and field issue analysis when required
• Improve and maintain existing designs with minimal risk and backward compatibility

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years of hands-on hardware board design
• Proven experience with multi-layer PCB design
• Strong experience with embedded systems hardware (MCUs, peripherals, memory interfaces)
• Experience in mixed-signal design
• Solid understanding of power design (battery systems, protection circuits, etc)
• Strong hands-on debugging and bring-up skills using lab equipment
• Experience with industrial communication interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C, RS-485 etc.)
• Experience with Altium Designer – advantage
