Senior Controller

Elron Ventures is hiring a Senior Controller to join Elron Ventures and report directly to the CFO.

This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in the financial leadership of a publicly traded operational investment company focused on building and scaling innovative technology businesses.

Job Description:

·      Preparation of the Company’s financial statements in accordance with IFRS, including ownership of the quarterly and annual closing processes, while ensuring accurate, complete, and timely financial reporting.

·      Monitor and improve internal controls, financial processes, and reporting procedures.

·      Manage audits and work closely with external auditors, tax advisors, and other service providers.

·      Support board, management, and regulatory reporting (including submission of tax returns).

·      Partner closely with investment and portfolio company teams on financial matters.

·      Work both as part of a team and independently manage various processes.

Requirements

·      CPA certification from one of the Big 4 accounting firms– must!

·      Minimum 5 years of relevant experience (post internship) including public-company reporting experience.

·      Practical experience in financial reporting and accounting under IFRS standards.

·      A dedicated, independent, and responsible individual, capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.

·      High attention to detail and analytical capabilities

·      Willingness to work extended hours when required, particularly during reporting periods, audits, budgeting cycles, and other critical deadlines.

·      Strong team player with excellent communication skills.

·      Proficiency in English (written and spoken) – required.
