Procurement & Import Operations Manager

Full responsibility for leading, managing, and overseeing the procurement operations team and the company’s international import logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

End‑to‑end execution of procurement and import processes, including continuous monitoring of the supply chain, handling operational exceptions, and managing interfaces with global suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers until goods arrive at the company’s warehouses.

Managing a team of procurement coordinators: task allocation, performance tracking, oversight of ERP order entry, and ensuring high data accuracy and quality.

Handling operational issues such as delays, shortages, import documentation errors, invoice discrepancies, and supplier or logistics‑related problems.

Managing the import and shipping workflow: working with freight forwarders and customs brokers, shipment release, managing import documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and standards requirements.

Leading process improvement initiatives: developing efficient work methodologies, reducing handling times, improving cross‑department collaboration, and implementing control and monitoring procedures.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree — required. Degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or Industrial Engineering — an advantage.

3–4 years of experience in operational procurement, import, or international logistics, including work with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers — required.

Proven experience in team management or team leadership — required.

Full proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.

Strong familiarity with import processes, shipping documents, regulations, and compliance — significant advantage.
