Assistant Controller

Position Summary

The Assistant Controller will play a key role in supporting the Finance team across a broad range of accounting, reporting, and operational activities for the US and Israeli business units, collaborating closely with the accounting team to identify opportunities for process improvements and enhance efficiency. The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented and proactive in supporting the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and record monthly journal entries for general ledger posting and perform related account reconciliations
• Assist with the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, working closely with the Finance leadership team
• Maintain the general ledger accounts for the respective legal entities, reporting discrepancies, imbalances, and other issues to the corporate finance team
• Work with both internal and external auditors during the annual audit process, preparing the necessary supporting workpapers and schedules
• Serve as the main point of contact for business owners to ensure accurate and timely invoicing through Oracle modules
• Ensure compliance with internal control frameworks and regulatory requirements, with the support of Corporate Finance
• Assist in the preparation and review of tax filings and statutory reporting requirements.
• Prepare and monitor weekly cash flow reports
• Collaborate with the U.S. Finance team to perform account reconciliations, resolve discrepancies, and support reporting requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes through automation and AI-driven tools.
• Manage ad-hoc special projects as required
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, with CPA certification
• 2+ years of progressive experience in general accounting and finance.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. and Israeli GAAP
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, conditional formulas, etc.)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Hebrew
• Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, unsupervised environment
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within deadlines in a technology-driven setting
• Ability to optimize processes and improve workflows
• Service-oriented with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel
• Proven problem-solving skills and strong analytical thinking
• A team player with a proactive approach
