Operations & Service Manager – Recycling Industry

A key role in the recycling industry is seeking a strong Operations & Service Manager, with proven experience in managing complex systems, leading teams, and working hands-on in the field.

Role Responsibilities:

• Overall operational management of the company’s machines, management of the entire service system, handling complex malfunctions, and monitoring compliance with service targets
• Team management – call center teams, technicians, operations personnel, and subcontractors
• Service center management – improving service quality, creating procedures and call scripts, providing professional responses
• Technical and professional responsibility – familiarity with types of machines, malfunctions and spare parts, working with technicians and suppliers, and leading the preventive maintenance domain
• Inventory management, monitoring equipment availability and procurement processes, optimizing warehouse and distribution processes
• Analysis of operational reports, generating insights, building KPIs and operational targets
• Responsibility for division budget management, monitoring operational expenses, and cost optimization
• Field presence – ongoing field work with technicians and drivers, familiarity with customers

Requirements:

• Experience in operations / service / logistics management – Mandatory
• Experience in managing teams with multiple interfaces –Mandatory
• Experience working with technical systems / field work – significant advantage
• Experience in managing a service center – significant advantage
