Senior Data Engineer & BI Developer | Ramat Gan

Mertens - MalamTeam is hiring a Senior Data Engineer & BI Developer with Databricks experience for a medical organization in Ramat Gan.

Join a medical organization and lead end-to-end Data solution development, including ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, SQL optimization, and scalable cloud-based data infrastructures.

Responsibilities:

Develop end-to-end Data solutions.

Build and maintain ETL/ELT processes.

Design data models and optimize SQL performance.

Work with Databricks, Spark, and cloud-based Data Platforms.

Build scalable, high-quality data infrastructures that support business decision-making.

Collaborate with BI, Data Science, and Development teams.

Translate business needs into technological solutions.

Requirements:

At least 2 years of experience in Data Engineering and/or BI development.

Proven experience with Databricks, including Spark, Delta Lake, Workflows, Databricks SQL, and Unity Catalog.

Strong SQL skills, including ETL/ELT development and performance optimization.

Experience in data modeling, including Star and Snowflake Schemas.

Experience developing Data Warehouses.

Proficiency in Python, PySpark, or Scala.

Experience working with Git and CI/CD tools.
