Mainframe Operator

Comblack is hiring a Mainframe Computer Operator (MF)!

This is an opportunity to join an operations team responsible for critical computing systems, work in an advanced technological environment, and take part in the ongoing operation of core systems within a large financial organization.

As part of the role, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring mainframe systems, tracking processes, identifying and handling initial Level 1 incidents, working with various technology interfaces, and supporting the ongoing activity of critical systems in a shift-based work environment, including weekends.

What we’re looking for:

Technical work background — must

Experience operating mainframe systems (MF) — significant advantage

Ability to handle initial Level 1 troubleshooting

Willingness to work shifts, including weekends

Fast learning ability, personal responsibility, and a proactive mindset

Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
