Briya- QA Automation Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and deeply accountable QA Automation Lead to champion our software quality initiatives. In this role, you won’t just run tests—you will own the automation ecosystem. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust automated QA workflows that ensure our products are rock-solid.

Job requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software QA automation.
• Automation Expertise: Proven track record of building and maintaining automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium).
• Leadership Mindset: Management or team-lead experience is a major bonus. We want someone ready to guide others and scale processes.
• Core Traits: High reliability and a strong sense of ownership. You don’t wait to be told what to fix; you spot the gap and own the solution.
• Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication skills. You can explain complex technical bugs to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with empathy and clarity.
• Tech Stack Proficiency: Strong coding skills in at least one major language (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java) and experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
  
  

• Own the Pipeline: Architect, write, and maintain scalable automated QA workflows and test frameworks from scratch.
• Drive Quality: Integrate automated testing seamlessly into our CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous, reliable delivery.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with Developers, Product Managers, and stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and clear bottlenecks.
• Mentor & Lead: Provide technical guidance to junior team members and potentially step into a management/lead capacity as the team grows.
• Accountability: Take full ownership of test coverage, bug tracking, and post-release verification, ensuring a high bar for production quality.
