Automation Development Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Automation Development Engineer to join our engineering team and lead the development of innovative automation technologies for assembly and testing processes in the field of miniature components for the medical device industry.

• Develop new automation technologies for assembly and testing of miniature components used in medical devices.
• Design, manufacture, assemble, and conduct experiments, testing, and performance evaluations of components and assemblies.
• Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, support the creation of manufacturing instructions, and facilitate the transfer of products from development to mass production.
• Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Quality, and Purchasing teams to improve processes and resolve engineering challenges.
• Develop tools, fixtures, and engineering solutions to support manufacturing and quality control processes.
• Ensure compliance with medical industry standards, including ISO 13485 and GMP requirements.
  

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in multidisciplinary product development.
• Experience in automation engineering and development.
• Familiarity with manufacturing methods, including:
• CNC Machining
• Sheet Metal Fabrication
• 3D Printing
• Proficiency in SolidWorks.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office applications.
• High level of English (spoken, written, and reading).
• Experience working with AI tools.
  

• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary projects from concept and design through production.
• Familiarity with ISO 13485 requirements and medical device regulations.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
