Import Export Specialist

CI Systems is a global technology company specializing in electro-optics test systems and semiconductor metrology solutions. The company serves customers across the USA, Israel, Europe, and the Far East.

This position plays a key role in managing customer orders, coordinating domestic and international shipments, supporting export activities, and ensuring smooth communication between customers, warehouse operations, finance, freight forwarders, and customs brokers. The ideal candidate is highly organized, service-oriented, and capable of managing multiple processes in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage customer orders from receipt through delivery using the company's ERP system.
• Monitor order status and delivery schedules, ensuring timely communication with customers regarding updates, delays, or changes.
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including transportation arrangements and shipment tracking.
• Handle export-related processes and documentation in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers to ensure smooth shipment execution.
• Review customer payment terms, track advance payments and contractual milestones, and coordinate with the Finance Department.
• Generate periodic operational reports on order status, deliveries, and logistics activities.
• Coordinate return shipments for repair, calibration, upgrades, or other service requirements.
• Issue customer invoices and support billing activities in coordination with Finance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in Order Management, Logistics, Import/Export Operations, Supply Chain, or a similar operational role.
• Experience working with international shipments, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and transportation providers.
• Familiarity with import/export processes and shipping documentation.
• Experience working with Finance teams, including invoice processing and payment follow-up.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
