Fundraising Grant Writer Resource Development Manager

Etgarim is one of Israel’s leading organizations in the field of adaptive and therapeutic outdoor sports for people with disabilities. Since its establishment, the organization has worked to strengthen the sense of capability, independence, and social belonging of thousands of children, youth, war victims, and adults through adaptive outdoor sports activities, trips, camps, training programs, and leadership initiatives across Israel.

Etgarim is seeking a Resource Development, grant writer and Philanthropy Relations Coordinator to lead and expand relationships with philanthropic foundations, private donors, and strategic partners in Israel and internationally.

The role includes developing long-term partnerships with foundations, friends organizations, and private donors, with a strong emphasis on building international collaborations and securing resources to advance the organization’s activities and social impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research, identify, and map philanthropic foundations, donors, and potential funding sources in Israel and internationally
• Develop ongoing relationships with philanthropic foundations, donors, Jewish Federations, friends organizations, and corporate partners
• Build international relationships with philanthropic organizations and global partner organizations
• Research, identify, initiate contact, and coordinate meetings with potential foundations, partners, and donors in Israel and abroad
• Write Letters of Interest (LOIs), grant proposals, and organizational background materials in both Hebrew and English
• Tailor proposals and projects to funding requirements, manage submission processes, follow-up, and ongoing reporting to foundations and donors
• Work closely with the organization’s leadership and professional program teams to gather data, budgets, and supporting materials
• Maintain donor databases, track donor relations activities, and support resource development processes
• Assist in developing international strategic partnerships and establishing international friends associations to support the organization’s growth

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in resource development, working with philanthropic foundations, and donor relations development in Israel and internationally
• Experience in grant writing and foundation reporting, including budget planning and financial tracking of funded programs
• Excellent English skills, including speaking, writing, and professional communication with international stakeholders
• Significant advantage for candidates with international experience working with philanthropic foundations, donors, and friends organizations in North America
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Strong research abilities, organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fully computerized environment
• Full proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word

Additional Advantages:
