Quantity Surveyor

A leading civil engineering company specializing in large-scale projects for public sector clients and complex infrastructure works is seeking a Quantity Surveyor for infrastructure projects, based in Bnei Brak, Israel.

Responsibilities:

• Quantity take-offs for earthworks, road structures, and infrastructure systems (bridges, retaining walls, noise barriers, culverts, drainage systems, etc.)
• Preparation of Bills of Quantities based on design drawings and comparison with existing BOQs
• Measurement, review, and approval of monthly progress payments and final accounts with contractors and project managers
• Evaluation and comparison of design alternatives
• Preparation of change orders and cost estimates
• Project data analysis, cost estimation, and pricing of works and bids
• Development of baseline schedules and ongoing monitoring of project progress
• Preparation of earthwork balance reports and pricing of variations during project execution
• Ongoing work with engineering drawings and field verification of quantities

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Civil Engineering or Practical Engineering in Civil Engineering / Building Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying
• Experience in earthworks and infrastructure projects
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Full proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and quantity surveying software (CivilCAD – an advantage)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to defend calculations in front of professional stakeholders
• Experience in quantity control for large public infrastructure projects – an advantage
• Familiarity with Israeli specifications – an advantage
