Python Full Stack Developer

Full Stack Developer (Python / Perl) | Leading Telecommunications Company in Central Israel

About the Role

A leading telecommunications company is seeking a Full Stack Developer (Python / Perl) to join a team responsible for developing and maintaining mission-critical systems.

This role combines backend development with Python, frontend development using Angular, and work within Linux-based environments. The position also involves development and maintenance of Perl-based systems. Prior Perl experience is not required, as training will be provided, but candidates must be willing to learn and work with the technology as part of the role.

You will work on high-impact production systems, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions in a dynamic enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and applications with a strong focus on Python

• Develop and support existing and new systems written in Perl

• Design and develop frontend components using Angular

• Work within Linux-based production environments

• Develop and maintain solutions utilizing MongoDB databases

• Support and enhance both Production and Non-Production environments

• Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve existing applications and services

• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and operations teams

• Participate in the design and implementation of new features and system enhancements

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional software development experience (excluding military service)

• Strong hands-on experience with Python development

• Experience developing applications using Angular

• Experience working in Linux environments

• Experience working with MongoDB

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Willingness to learn and develop using Perl as part of the role

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

• Availability for participation in a 24/7 support environment when required
