Job Summary: In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate, review, and edit Tigrinya language content for accuracy, tone, and cultural appropriateness.
• Evaluate, correct, and annotate linguistic data for AI training and development purposes.
• Provide detailed feedback to enhance the quality of Tigrinya language outputs generated by AI systems.
• Collaborate closely with fellow linguistic experts and project managers to deliver project milestones on time.
• Ensure consistency, clarity, and precision in all Tigrinya language materials.
• Identify linguistic nuances, idioms, and regional variations to improve AI understanding and learning capabilities.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail and uphold high standards for written and verbal communication.
  
  

• Native or near-native proficiency in Tigrinya, with exceptional command of written and spoken forms.
• Demonstrated experience in translation, editing, and localization of Tigrinya language content.
• Strong linguistic analysis skills and cultural knowledge of Tigrinya-speaking regions.
• Proven attention to detail and commitment to language accuracy.
• Ability to clearly communicate insights and feedback in both written and verbal formats.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and remote environment.
• Technical aptitude and adaptability to language technology tools for AI training.
  
  

• Prior experience as an AI trainer or similar role involving language data annotation.
• Background in linguistics, computational linguistics, or related field.
• Familiarity with other regional languages or dialects is a plus.
