About the Role

The role includes:

Responsibilities

• Optomechanical design including theoretical engineering design, calculations, use of software (such as ANSYS and similar) for simulations, development and design of precise mechanical parts and calculations of tolerances, compensations and engineering tolerances;
• Design of kinematic and dynamic mechanisms including calculations;
• Design and development in CAD (such as Solidworks and its derivatives is mandatory, including (but not limited to) layout design, shell design, packaging, sheet metal bending, assemblies and assemblies;
• Design and programming of 3D printers;
• Work in ERP software (such as PRIORITY);
• Transition from development to production;
• Design of models;
• Participation in planning and conducting experiments;
• Product review during the production process;
• Work in a laboratory and production hall and assemblies;
• Understanding of writing ILS literature;
• Support for customers in Israel and abroad;
• Representing the company and its values in a professional manner, and in a way that will raise its profile with customers and suppliers;

Qualifications

Knowledge in the field of mechanical engineering: Production processes, mechanical assemblies, reading drawings, packaging, quality assurance, mechanical design, production processes, heat transfer, material strength, control and automation systems, dynamic systems, Cooling of electronic components, optical and electro-optical systems; Deep understanding of material selection, thermal and surface treatments, stress relief, etc.;

Required Skills

Computer knowledge and experience: Knowledge of software - Windows, Office, Solidworks Ansys, An advantage to know software: Matlab Ansys, C++, Pascal, Priority, LabView

Preferred Skills

Languages: High level of Hebrew and English (reading, writing and speaking, including technical English).
