Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in the Tel Aviv District, Israel. The Accountant will manage daily accounting activities, including recording journal entries, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling bank and balance sheet accounts. Responsibilities include processing invoices, handling accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring accurate and timely billing. The role will support month-end and year-end closing, prepare financial reports, assist with budgeting and forecasts, and help ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls. The Accountant will collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders, respond to financial inquiries, and contribute to process improvements within the finance function.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles, financial reporting, and local tax regulations.
• Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems, as well as solid Excel and general MS Office skills.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing processes.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Hebrew proficiency is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in the Tel Aviv District, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant academic background such as a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is an advantage.
• Previous experience in aviation, logistics, or service-oriented industries is beneficial, along with a collaborative and ethical working style.
