As Israela continues to expand its activities throughout North America, Australia, South America, the United Kingdom, and beyond, we are seeking a passionate, creative, and highly organised Marketing Manager to lead and execute all aspects of the organisation's marketing and communications activities.

Position Overview

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for the planning, coordination, creation, and execution of Israela's marketing and communications activities to English speaking countries – primarily: USA, Canada, UK, Australia and South Africa.

This is a hands-on role requiring a combination of strategic thinking, content creation, project management, digital marketing, graphic design coordination, storytelling, public relations, and event coverage.

The successful candidate will be responsible for increasing awareness of Israela, strengthening the organisation's brand and helping generate qualified leads by showcase the success of Israela families, and communicating the impact of Israela's work to prospective Olim, donors, partners, and stakeholders worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Social Media Management – Manage Israela's social media presence across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other relevant platforms. Create, schedule, publish, and monitor content. Grow engagement, followers, and reach.
• Content Creation & Storytelling – Develop compelling written, visual, and video content that promotes Israela's mission and impact, including family success stories, case studies, testimonials, and feature articles.
• Graphic Design & Marketing Materials – Design marketing materials including; Social media graphics, Brochures, Flyers, Roll-up banners, Event signage. Produce graphics and materials requested by internal staff and departments.
• Photography & Video Content – Coordinate photography and videography coverage of key Israela activities, including: Pilot trips, Airport arrivals, Events
• Advertising & Campaign Management – Research, identify, and manage advertising opportunities globally. Coordinate advertising in: Jewish newspapers, Community magazines, Synagogue publications, Social media platforms, Relevant podcasts and media channels
• Newsletter & Email Marketing
• Website & Digital Presence

Required Skills & Experience

Essential

• 3+ years experience in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and project management skills.
• Experience managing social media platforms professionally.
• Experience creating marketing content and campaigns.
• Strong graphic design capabilities using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent tools.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Preferred

• Hebrew language skills.
• Experience in the nonprofit sector.
• Experience within Jewish communal organisations.
• Photography and video editing skills.
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms and CRM systems.
• Experience with Meta advertising and Google advertising platforms.
