Role Description

The Visitor Center Manager/Director is a full-time, on-site role based in Jerusalem. The role entails managing the day-to-day operations of the visitor center, engaging with visitors, overseeing educational experiences, and coordinating events that promote the organization's mission. Responsibilities also include staff management, program development, monitoring visitor experience, and ensuring smooth operational logistics.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of visitor center management, program coordination, and team leadership
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with diverse visitors and staff
• Organizational and multitasking abilities to effectively manage operations and events
• Proficiency in public speaking and presentation delivery
• Familiarity with administrative tasks, record-keeping, and basic financial management
• Passion for the mission of EFRAT and the ability to convey its values to visitors
• Fluency in multiple languages is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Non-Profit Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Previous experience in a visitor center, museum, educational facility, or hospitality management is preferred
