Engineering Group Manager

We’re looking for a Head of Engineering to lead our Banking engineering business domain.

We are in a journey of building an autonomous engineering organization and looking for a leader that can envision the future of engineering while supporting current R&D efforts in a startup, high growth environment.

We think big and about scale, we always choose technology over manual work or short-term solutions.

You will be responsible for building modern, reliable, secure, and scalable banking products used by customers every day. This includes driving engineering culture, architecture, delivery processes, talent development, production excellence, and adoption of modern engineering practices, including cloud-native development, AI-assisted engineering, automation, observability, and secure-by-design development.

This is a leadership role for someone who combines strong engineering depth, product mindset, people leadership, and the ability to operate in a regulated financial environment.

Your Day-to-Day

• Lead a 40+ engineering group responsible for Banking domain services such as current account, deposits, credit and more.
• Be in charge
• Build scalable data infrastructure and pipelines (batch + streaming).
• Implement MLOps best practices, including model lifecycle & feature stores.
• Partner with Product, R&D, and business stakeholders to drive data-based decisions.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing data organization.
• Prioritize and manage delivery across multiple initiatives.
• Ensure operational excellence, reliability, and quality in cloud environments.

Requirements

• 4+ years leading R&D teams (40+) in a senior role (Head/Director/Group leader).
• Hands-on expertise with large-scale data systems & distributed architectures.
• Experience in leading fullstack organization including native mobile and backend teams.
• Experience in process engineering and strong understand of R&D processes such as Agile, Solution Design, Devops, Securty Engineering, Operations ,Continuous improvement, and more.
• Experience with AI coding practices and tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to balance strategic planning with execution.
