Software Engineer III, Search Console Configuration

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
• 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• 2 years of experience with software development in C++ programming language, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
• Experience writing SQL queries and pulling data from relational databases.
• Experience developing accessible technologies.

Search Console serves as the definitive bridge between Google Search and the global web ecosystem, helping site owners succeed by providing critical performance insights and actionable optimization tools.

With your technical expertise, you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable services and pipelines serving both internal and external users.
• Write product or system development code.
• Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
• Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
