Electronic Engineer

Electronics Engineer | Defense Company | Be’er Yaakov

A defense company in Be’er Yaakov is hiring an Electronics Engineer to join its Production team.

The role includes supporting the transition from development to production, reviewing engineering designs from a manufacturing perspective, and planning production processes for cables, electronic boxes, electronic systems and related assemblies.

Responsibilities:

• Support development processes with a focus on manufacturability and production readiness

• Lead transfer from R&D to production

• Review engineering designs according to production capabilities and constraints

• Plan and define manufacturing processes for cables, electronic boxes, systems and related electronic assemblies

• Write and update electronic manufacturing methods and production documentation

• Build and manage BOMs for cables, boxes, systems and electronic assemblies

• Provide technical support to production teams, including troubleshooting production issues

• Take technological ownership of electronic manufacturing activities within projects

• Support subcontractors with electronic production questions and technical issues

Requirements:

• BSc in Electrical & Electronics Engineering

• At least 2 years of experience in electronics, including cables, electronic boxes, antennas, electronic boards or similar products

• Experience in Manufacturing Engineering / Production Engineering

• Experience working with SAP

• Ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings and system-level documentation

• Familiarity with manufacturing methods for electronic systems and components

• Familiarity with cable manufacturing processes

• High sense of responsibility, self-discipline and ownership

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• High motivation and willingness to work in an intensive environment, including overtime when needed
