Senior Linux System Administrator

Enterprise / Global Infrastructure

We are looking for a Senior Linux System Engineer with deep, hands-on Linux expertise, ideally coming from large-scale, global, enterprise environments.

This role involves working with complex infrastructure, data centers, and mission-critical systems at scale.

Experience Required

• 5–6+ years of experience in System Administration
• Proven background in large, complex, enterprise or global organizations
• Extensive hands-on experience in Linux production environments

Responsibilities & Technical Requirements

Linux & Automation

• Deep hands-on experience managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Linux systems
• Strong scripting skills in Bash and/or Python
• Experience with configuration management and automation tools:
• Ansible, Puppet
• CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins)

Troubleshooting & Infrastructure

• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues across:
• Bare metal
• Operating systems
• Software stacks
• Application layers
• Strong experience with virtualization platforms:
• KVM
• VMware
• Hyper-V

Core Services & Identity

• In-depth knowledge of core Linux and Windows services:
• DHCP, DNS, NIS
• Active Directory (AD)

Networking

• Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols:
• Layer 2 (L2) and Layer 3 (L3)
• Ability to work closely with networking teams in enterprise environments

Monitoring & Data Centers

• Experience with monitoring solutions such as:
• Icinga
• Zabbix
• Previous experience supporting large-scale, complex data center environments

Skills & Personal Qualities

• Strong troubleshooting mindset with a holistic, end-to-end view
• Self-learner with a high ability to share knowledge and mentor others
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment
• Team player with a service-oriented and collaborative approach
• High-level English proficiency — reading, writing, and speaking
