We are searching for the best talent for a Software Test Engineering (STE) Team Leader role, to join our team located in Yokneam, Israel.

Purpose: Are you an experienced testing leader from the medical device industry looking to drive quality in life impacting systems? We are seeking an experienced STE Team Leader with proven managerial experience to lead testing excellence in a highly regulated, multidisciplinary environment.

You Will Be Responsible For

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software/system testing engineers
• Own end-to-end Verification & Validation (V&V) activities for medical device systems
• Drive testing strategy, planning, execution, and delivery across complex releases
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (FDA, IEC 62304, ISO 13485, etc.) and internal procedures
• Work closely with R&D, System Engineering, Clinical, and QA/RA teams in a multidisciplinary environment
• Lead risk-based testing approaches aligned with product safety and patient impact
• Promote automation, efficiency, and innovation—including AI-driven testing approaches
• Manage team performance, hiring, development plans, and career growth
• Foster a culture of accountability, technical excellence, and continuous improvement

Qualifications And Requirements

• B\A or B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in software/system testing
• 3+ years of proven managerial experience leading testing teams
• Mandatory experience in medical device companies or similarly regulated environments
• Strong expertise in V&V processes, test methodologies, and quality assurance practices
• Deep understanding of regulated development lifecycle and compliance requirements
• Experience managing testing activities for complex, multidisciplinary systems (SW/HW integration)
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and modern testing tools
• Strong leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
