Hardware Manager

A well-established, highly profitable Wireless Communications & IoT company that designs and markets innovative, high-performance wire-free audio and entertainment systems.

Operating globally for over two decades, the organization maintains a stable, product-market-fit environment with a large local R&D center.

Located in the Sharon region and operating on a hybrid model with one day of remote work per week.

Position Overview-

• Hardware R&D Team Lead reporting directly to the VP of R&D, taking comprehensive management and technical ownership of a skilled team of approximately 6 Hardware Engineers.
• Leading the architectural definition, design, and validation of complex, multi-disciplinary electronic consumer electronics and communication devices.
• Steering low-power, high-frequency physical layer engineering, closely aligning board design with embedded software, mechanical enclosures, and strict regulatory standards.
• Coordinating cross-functionally across the entire product lifecycle, bridging the gap between core R&D and operational loops, including NPI (New Product Introduction), QA, Procurement, and Manufacturing.

Requirements-

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or a highly relevant academic discipline - Mandatory
• 8 years of proven professional experience in Hardware Development, specializing in multi-disciplinary, mass-market electronic products - Mandatory
• 4 years of dedicated experience in a Team Lead capacity, managing physical hardware or board design engineering units - Mandatory
• Deep technical mastery of short-range wireless technologies (specifically Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Zigbee), encompassing thorough understanding of RF PHY and MAC layer mechanisms - Mandatory
• Hands-on experience executing RF testing workflows, transceiver calibration, and working with advanced electronic laboratory equipment (e.g., Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers) - Mandatory
• Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to lead engineering synchronization matrices across embedded software, mechanical design, and product operations - Mandatory
