A well-funded startup in stealth mode is looking for a strong Senior AI Engineer to join its core engineering team and help build next-generation AI-powered products from the ground up.

We're building at the intersection of Generative AI, Data Platforms, and Scalable Backend Systems, transforming complex workflows and massive datasets into intelligent, production-ready solutions.

This is an opportunity to work on real-world AI products used by enterprise customers, while helping shape the architecture, infrastructure, and future direction of the platform.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and scale production-grade AI systems and backend infrastructure

• Develop LLM-powered applications, including RAG pipelines, AI agents, and multi-step reasoning workflows

• Build scalable data pipelines, APIs, and event-driven architectures

• Integrate technologies such as OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS Bedrock, vector databases, and modern orchestration frameworks

• Architect AI workflows that are reliable, explainable, and production-ready

• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to bring AI capabilities into customer-facing products

• Improve AI quality through evaluation, testing, monitoring, and continuous iteration

• Explore emerging AI technologies and help drive innovation across the organization

Requirements:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong Python skills

• Hands-on experience building and deploying LLM-based applications in production

• Proven experience with RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and AI orchestration frameworks

• Strong backend and system design capabilities

• Experience building APIs, distributed systems, and scalable architectures

• Familiarity with agent-based workflows and AI automation

• Strong ownership mindset and ability to operate in fast-moving startup environments

• Passion for AI and staying current with the latest developments in the ecosystem
