Position Overview

We are seeking a strong, execution-focused VP of IT & Information Systems to own our end-to-end IT strategy and execution. In this pivotal role, you will act as a critical technical leader, reporting directly to the CEO to align our IT infrastructure with our main operational goals.

You will lead our digital transformation initiatives, oversee an annual budget, manage a talented internal team of 7 professionals, and orchestrate a hybrid ecosystem of external vendors—including an outsourced Help Desk and a working partnership with our external CISO.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Executive Leadership: Act as a key trusted technical advisor to executive management. Translate complex operational objectives into a multi-year IT roadmap, driving digital transformation and process automation across ERP, CRM, HRIS, and BI systems.
• Team & Vendor Management: Empower, mentor, and develop a high-performing internal team of 7 (made up of Project Managers, Infrastructure Specialists, an applications Manager, and SysAdmins). Strategically manage external vendors, including the governance of an outsourced Help Desk.
• Security Alignment & Awareness: Partner closely with our external CISO to align on security compliance, system hardening, and vulnerability testing. You will own the implementation of internal cybersecurity awareness programs and employee training initiatives.
• Infrastructure & Cloud Resilience: Oversee the technical design and scaling of our hybrid environments, encompassing On-Premises architecture and modern Cloud ecosystems (M365, AWS, Azure, GCP).
• AI Implementation & Adoption: Identify, evaluate, and deploy relevant Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and technologies across the company to improve operational efficiency and drive innovation.
• Financial & Operational Governance: Formulate and optimize the annual IT CapEx and OpEx budgets. Establish rigorous SLAs, KPIs, and Change & Release management frameworks to optimize operational efficiency.

Requirements

Experience & Education

• Proven Leadership: Extensive experience heading an Information Systems department or function as a CIO, VP, or Director.
• Enterprise Lifecycle Success: A proven track record of successfully delivering complex, end-to-end enterprise software implementations (ERP, CRM, BI) and cloud migrations.
• Vendor & Commercial Experience: Strong experience managing external subcontractors, outsourced services, and executing high-value commercial negotiations.
• AI & Emerging Tech Knowledge: Practical understanding of current AI trends and tools, with the ability to choose, test, and safely integrate AI solutions into existing company workflows.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or Master’s degree is a distinct advantage.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong Technical & Leadership Skills: Outstanding ability to act as a hands-on technical bridge, combining deep technical knowledge (IT infrastructure, databases, cloud architecture) with strong interpersonal skills to collaborate seamlessly with the CEO and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Cybersecurity Knowledge: Deep understanding of modern cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, and regulatory compliance (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR) to support the CISO's initiatives.
• Language: Fluency in both Hebrew and English (written and spoken).
