Controller (CPA)

We are looking for a Controller to join a leading accounting firm in Tel Aviv in a unique role that combines financial controlling and consulting. The position involves working with global companies operating in Israel and managing a professional department of bookkeepers.

This is a high-responsibility role with significant client exposure and excellent flexibility that supports a great work-life balance.

What will you do?

• Lead the global controlling function and manage the day-to-day financial operations for a portfolio of diverse clients.
• Oversee and supervise the work of the department.
• Support international companies that do not have local finance teams in Israel.
• Work directly with clients in a highly customer-facing role.
• Prepare management reports, audit reports, and monthly financial reporting.
• Lead process improvements, optimize services, and drive new initiatives.
• Play a key role in expanding the global practice and developing additional service offerings.

What are we looking for?

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• Around 3 years of experience as a Controller or Assistant Controller – required.
• Strong accounting knowledge and the ability to lead financial controlling processes.
• Management experience, including leading teams, clients, or day-to-day operations – required.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Experience working with international clients or overseas operations – an advantage.
• Background in an accounting or financial services firm – an advantage.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Independent, proactive, and hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving abilities.
