About the Role 

We are looking for a talented Software Engineer at Appdome. You will take part in developing our core API Protection product infrastructure. 

The challenge is to design and develop complex security components that can be integrated in a generic and flexible way for Android & iOS 3rd party applications’ network stacks, and integrated seamlessly and agnostically on all cloud/WAF platforms. 

The code is developed both on the client and server side, mainly in C/CPP but also in Java/OBJC and scripting languages such as Python and JS. 

Responsibilities

• Creatively designing, developing, and delivering new infrastructures and security features. 
• Optimizing and debugging our current infrastructure according to customers’ needs. 
• Continuously learn and evaluate new technologies in the everlasting effort to perfect our product.

• B.Sc. in computer science or an equivalent 
• At least 2 years of development experience of complex enterprise systems. 
• Strong knowledge on HTTP/S protocol, DNS routing, PKI and the 7 layer model. 
• Experience in C/C++ programming 
• Experience with at least 1 scripting language such as BASH, Python, JS. 
• Strong knowledge in Cyber Security and Networking. 
• Proven experience with Web Application Firewalls (WAF) 
• Knowledge of server-side components and architectures such as CDN, Load Balancers, Edge compute 

Advantages:

• Experience in native mobile application development in Android or iOS. 
• Experience in reverse engineering. 
• DevOPS experience, Docker, K8 and CI/CD pipelines.
